It is advised that you should never apply peppermint oil directly to your hair as it will dry our your hair. It must be diluted. Try to mix two drops of pure essential oil and water. You can mix peppermint oil with a light carrier oil to use as a conditioner or with a shampoo or conditioner to get it distributed all through your hair.

A great plus to peppermint hair oil is that it makes your hair smell great.

With hair extensions, this process is quite different. In fact, it is completely opposite of what you would do with your own hair. You would NOT apply oil to hair extensions as it would leave your extensions to be quite oily and stringy. If you choose to detangle when wet, apply a cheap hair conditioner and use a shower comb to detangle your extensions. This will solve your tangling delima.

A hair clarifier is great for build up. If you have excessive product build up on your hair and scalp, then the use of a hair clarifier would come into play. If you naturally have an overly oily scalp, then a hair clarify would help.

When To Use A Hair Clarifier:

The best time to use a hair clarifier is when you feel that you have excessive buildup or about once a month. After the use of a hair clarifier, it is recommended that you deep condition your hair with a moisturizing conditioner as a hair clarifier will leave your hair feeling dry.

If you are trying to relax your hair for the first time, it is best to create as many section in your hair as you can so that you can avoid overlapping your hair. Though it is best to seek the help of a professional, it is quite possible to only relax new growth. A great way to avoid any danger of having overlapped relax hair is by putting some kind of conditioner on hair that has already been relaxed so that if any part of your relaxer was to touch your hair that has been previously relaxed, it will not process as fast.  It is best to stretch out your relaxer to avoid overlapping your relaxers.
